The 2013 Khau Vai Love Market Festival and Culture-Tourism Week, which opened on May 4 in Meo Vac district, the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, expects to draw about 10,000 visitors.

The Tan Vien (the God of the Mountain) festival opened on February 13 (or the 14th day of the first lunar month), in Hanoi’s district of Ba Vi, attracting a crowd of visitors from all regions of the country.

It runs through the provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai and joins the Lo River in Phu Tho Province. However, the section of the river in Lao Cai Province is the most beautiful.
